Monday brings the increase in copper prices. Prices of copper on the London Metal Exchange are rising due to speculation of improving demand in China. Copper on the LME three-month supply in London is valued at U.S $ 7400.25 per tonne, after rising by 1.2 percent. Reports from China also raised the quotations of crude oil. A barrel of light sweet crude West Texas Intermediate, in the supply in August on the NYMEX fuel exchange in New York gets more expensive by 46 cents to $ 80.22.
The beginning of the week on the FX market is marked by the weakening of the zloty. From the first hours of trading our currency loses toward the dollar and euro. U.S. currency is now valued at 3.41 PLN and nearly 0.5 percent more than on Friday. You have to pay 4.26 PLN for euro.
Today's macroeconomic calendar of events is poor. About 4 p.m. we will know the data about new home sales in the United States. But do not expect that these data will raise markets. The euro area and its problems will be in the center of attention again.

The Polski Fundusz Rozwoju (PFR) is co-financing the construction of a new intermodal terminal for CLIP Group in Zabrze. The investment, valued at approximately PLN 145 million, is being developed on post-industrial land previously occupied by the Makoszowy coal mine and JSW Koks facilities, with completion scheduled for mid-2026.
